A program to expeditiously move cross-border documents from point of pickup in the United States to the planned document processing facility. This system allows our personnel to review export paperwork for shipments to Canada, while the shipments are in transit. This expedites customs clearance, reduces paperwork delays and minimizes cargo release times.
For shipments to Canada, we also actively participate, whenever possible, in the PARS program in which brokers and customs review documentation prior to shipment arrival, helping to eliminate delays in the customs release process.
Reimer Shipment Notification System (RSNS)
RSNS is an electronic link to Canada Customs that captures live customs-clearance information on every shipment. Through RSNS, Canada Customs transmits customs-clearance information to our systems via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Shipment status information is updated instantly. Current customs-release and shipment-tracking information is available online at www.ReimerExpress.com, my.ReimerExpress.com, by calling Reimer's toll-free voice response system, or by contacting your local Reimer Express facility.
