Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance completed the second of five scheduled ISO 9000 surveillance audits on January 19, 2001. Areas examined by Lloyd's included management policy and objectives, system and organization changes, internal audits, corrective actions, managed review, preventive actions, system improvements and customer service. As expected, Reimer Express Lines LTD and its parent company Roadway Express, Inc., passed the surveillance audit with flying colors. We were proud to receive positive feedback from Lloyds' on the strength of our quality system. The next surveillance audit is schedule in July of 2001. Reimer and Roadway were first nationwide LTL carriers to achieve system wide ISO certification for our management and operation of the transport of our customer's goods. Certification serves as assurance to our customers that quality is in integral part of our day to day operation at Reimer and Roadway.
