Reimer Express Drivers Take Home The Hardware At Manitoba's Provincial Truck Driving Championships [06/18/2002]
WINNIPEG, MB - June 05,2002 - Four Reimer Express drivers from Winnipeg, Manitoba finished
first in their respective classes at Manitobaís Provincial Truck Driving Championships
held June the 1st at the Red River Exhibition Grounds in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Reimer
Expressí top finishers were John Nowak in the straight truck class, Gary Good
in the single tractor - single trailer class, Denis Tallaire in the B-Train class
and Trevor Mulder in the tandem tractor - tandem trailer class. Trevor also captured
the Rookie of the Year Award. These drivers merit the highest recognition for
their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skills. (Left to right

As provincial champions, the four drivers will form part of the six-man team that represents Manitoba at the National Truck Driving Championships in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September the 6th and 7th.
Other top finishers representing Reimer Express were:
John Klassen - 2nd Place, straight truck
Jim Foulkes - 2nd Place, tandem tractor - tandem trailer
Ed Janzen - 3rd Place, single tractor - single trailer
Rob Trager - 3rd Place, single tractor - tandem trailer
In total, 7 teams were entered in the provincial competition. The Reimer Express team of John Nowak, John Klassen, Gary Good and Rob Trager finished 1st and took home the Team Trophy. Reimerís other team of Ed Janzen, Dale Derksen, Denis Tallaire, Jim Foulkes, Trevor Mulder and Ed Weibe Jr. placed 2nd in the event.
