Reimer Express 2002 Scholarship Recipient [06/21/2002]

Manitoba - June 21, 2002 - Reimer Express Lines Ltd., has awarded the Reimer Express
Lines Ltd. Scholarship to Christopher Thorpe of Bayview Secondary School in Richmond
Hill, Ontario. Christopher is the son of Ronald and Lynda Thorpe. Ron is a member
of the traffic department at Reimer Express' Toronto facility.
Christopher is the first recipient of this scholarship and earned the scholarship on the basis of academic achievement and involvement in extra-curricular activity. This scholarship has a value of $5000.00 annually for a maximum of four consecutive years.
Christopher is eighteen years old and is graduating with honours from grade twelve. Christopher has received Awards for Excellence in Mathematics both in 2000 and 2001 as well as a Super 80 Awards for Academic Excellence at his school. Christopher is currently enrolled at Seneca College to study Accounting and Finance this Fall.
