Winnipeg, MB - July 9, 2003 - Fifteen Reimer Express drivers were recognized for their achievements in their respective classes during the Manitoba, the British Columbia and the Saskatchewan Provincial Truck Driving Championships. The Manitoba competition was held May 31st at the Red River Exhibition Grounds in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The British Columbia event was held May 24th at the Tradex facilities in Abbotsford, British Columbia and the Saskatchewan provincials were held on June the 14th in Saskatoon.
Reimer Express' top finishers in the Manitoba championships were John Nowak in the straight truck class, Gary Good in the single tractor - single trailer class, Denis Tallaire in the B-Train class and John Klassen in the step van class. John Court took top honours in the step van class during the British Columbia championships. Harvey Gording captured first place in the Saskatchewan championships in the single tractor - tandem trailer class, while Ralph Schierling captured first place in the straight truck class. These drivers merit the highest recognition for their dedication to safety, professionalism, and driving skills.
John Court and Gary Good also won overall Grand Champion in their respective provincial championships. In addition, Gary was awarded the Hal Bjornson Award (given to the participant with the highest overall score). Gary scored 461 points, out of a possible 500 points in his particular class.
As provincial champions, these seven drivers will form part of the 6-man teams that represent Manitoba, British Columbia and Saskatchewan during the National Truck Driving Championships in Winnipeg, Manitoba on September the 6th and 7th.

In total, 66 competitors, representing 9 teams were entered in the Manitoba provincial competition.
