During the week of October 6, 2003, the Toronto Terminal celebrated the 75th birthday of Ernie Enright. Borrowing a great idea from our Indianapolis facility, the occasion was recognized by presenting Ernie with a reserved parking spot in front of the facility marked with a sign commemorating his over 55 years of service in the Trucking industry in Canada.
Much of Ernie's career has been involved in rates and traffic and currently serves in our Customer Service department. Ernie has been part of the Reimer Express family of companies since 1982.
Ernie remains active in the Trucking Industry currently serving as CITT's Vice Chair, Toronto Area Council; in fact Ernie was part of this organization's first graduating class in 1963.
Ernie has many friends at Reimer Express, in the industry and in his community. Just recently Ernie and his wife Pauline relocated their residence leaving the city of Mississauga. To say goodbye to the Enrights, the community held a party and both were presented with recognition from the area's member of Provincial Government as well as Mississauga Mayor, Hazel McCallion, for their work in the community.
Congratulations Ernie.
