Reimer Express has been directly involved with the Automated Commercial Environment Project (ACE) since its inception in 2004.
Reimer Express has spent the last six months testing the transmission of electronic manifest (E-manifest) while working hand-in-hand with CBP (Customs & Border Protection) as they help us evaluate our process to meet the expectations set forth with the introduction of ACE.
In October 2006, CBP announced the much anticipated deadline date for ACE as January 25, 2007. Reimer Express is currently in motion to meet or beat the January 25, 2007 deadline date for A.C.E. compliance.
It is important that our customers know that we will continue to provide cross border service with no delays and are prepared to make a smooth transition to the E-manifest and the Automated Commercial Environment.
