Six Easy Steps to Shipping Exhibit Materials

1. Bill of Lading

In order to ship your exhibit material via Reimer, the only form necessary is a bill of lading. Reimer has a bill of lading specifically designed for exhibit materials. If you are shipping to a show, you may also wish to prepare a bill of lading for the return trip and prepackage it with your exhibit. Remember, all shipments moving to a show must be billed as "Prepaid" and all shipments leaving a show must be billed as "Collect" or "Third Party". Additionally, it is imperative that you indicate your booth number and the name of the general service contractor on the bill of lading.

2. Labelling

In order to allow for accurate handling of your materials during shipment by Reimer and on the show floor by the service contractor, it is imperative that you label your shipping containers with your company name, the show name and the booth number. Reimer has labels specifically designed for exhibit material. Be sure to remove any old labels from your containers to avoid any routing confusion.

3. Select Your Carrier

• When shipping to the show, call Reimer for pickup. One call to Reimer’s "EXPO" Line Is all it takes to get your shipment moving. Reimer will be working with the service contractor on this show, and we will do the rest to ensure your exhibit materials arrive for move-in on time.
• When moving-out from the show, note REIMER on your bill of lading, then call the "EXPO" Line to schedule a pick-up. Your exhibit materials will receive prompt and careful pick-up, handling and delivery.

4. Select Your Service

Reimer offers several transportation options for the Trade show industry:

• Truckload - Special services for larger shipments.
• Fast as Flite - Expedited service within Canada.
• Time-Critical Services - Guarantees on-time delivery for your emergency shipments moving between Canada and the United States or Mexico.

5. On-Site Assistance

When Reimer is the recommended show carrier, we will have a representative at the show site to assist you with the shipping needs. Please feel free to consult them for any questions regarding completing your bills of lading and/or transporting your materials from the show.

6. 1-800 Assistance

• Exhibit Transportation "EXPO" Line - By dialling 1-800-531-EXPO (1-800-531-3976), you can contact an Exhibit Transportation Coordinator who can answer any questions you may have, assisting with rates, tracing, transit times, pick-up and delivery arrangements.
• Customer Information Services - By dialling 1-888-4REIMER (1-888-473-4637), you can use our Voice Response System for tracing and POD inquiries.
